Onsite Offer ..

I work in one of the most reputed concerns of India. I joined here as a fresher and I feel proud of being a part of it. There is something that makes this company very special to me. To my suprise, my first project immediately after my freshers training turned out to be an onsite opportunity. When I first got the one liner mail, "You are allocated to work for an onsite Proj for one year " from my Manager, I was overjoyed. Immediately, I informed my family and then called up my Manager to thank him for this opportunity. I was so reluctant that I dint asked even a single word more to my manager about the project, but was just awaitin for the next mail. Later, I got other details about the project in further mails. Immediately after completion of my training, I was supposed to travel ,along with one another colleague of mine who had joined abt 6 months earlier. Since this was my first onsite opportunity, it should be quite obvious that I was in high spirits and enthusiam eagerly awaiting to leave. But, I got my visa only after a months wait and was ironically, feeling sad for the delay.
Finally, the day came for me to travel to Onsite. My first flight experience. Obviously, all my family members joined me to the airport for the send off. I still remember the face of my proud dad, sisters. And the tear and fear filled eyes with smiling face of my mom when i had to leave for immigration. Obviously, I was also afraid for the unknown things that I might have to face in future at onsite. Actually, it was a combination of eagerness and fear, i think. With big dreams, I boarded the flight very reluctantly, just in fear of making any mistakes in the general abroad travel procedures. My flight travel experience was not very worth to mention, ironically remembered the bullock cart during my travel. There was a halt for an hour inbetween and finally after about 4 to 5 hours I reached my destination port. It was almost 10.45 PM, the place was very good lit with the night lights around the city, seemed to be very organised. When it was almost time to land ,I became very nervous, with an unknown fear in my heart, i was waiting for the flight to come to stand still...
